Today I will tell you about games about “a policeman in the future”.
Let’s start with the very first game about Judge Dredd:
1. "Judge Dredd — The Movie"", published in 1995 for:

The story is told through cinematic cutscenes, just like in Resident Evil for the same ps1, the cutscenes are more reminiscent of a prelude to soft porn of the 90s.

In my opinion, a pretty good plot for a game about Judge Dredd. It is also worth noting the unusual design of locations and characters, as well as Dredd’s phrases in the style of Duke Nukem.
The game is not the best 1st person shooter with melee combat (consisting of one hit). Personally, I played the game on PS2 (not with the most convenient controls). I passed level 2 on the 8th time. I would like to note that in some cases you can simply get lost and not understand where to go.
You still have different types of ammo, and in addition new weapons:

But the main innovation was the “judge scale”, which shows whether you are breaking the law. If she goes down, then a squad of judges will be sent after you, who will kill you (in any case), although you can fight back.
The scale goes down if you:
— You will kill the judge;
— You will kill a civilian;
— Kill a criminal who agreed to surrender.
I will say on my own that the game is good, but sometimes it infuriates you with its shortcomings. A kind of hardcore test for those who are interested in the topic.
